This site is about the architectural and cultural heritage of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.  Not only is it a means of talking about my new book to be published in fall 2012 called The Glorious Years: 100 Years of Peterborough Architecture, 1840-1940, but it is also a place to explore in more depth some of the fantastic stories of this city’s fascinating history.

  1. Do you have an email where I could contact you, there are some things I’m curious about concerning Peterborough architecture and my (stonemason) gx2 grandfather. We have a connection to the Waddell family.

    • Hi! Good to hear from you and your interest in my blog and pboro architecture. Am certainly interested in hearing more about the Waddell family…you know I wrote a column on the Waddell house a few years ago? In any event, I can be reached at ajg.elliott@utoronto.ca.

I look forward to chatting with you further.

      Best regards,
      Andrew Elliott
